ABOUT COFFEE

We recommend waiting 1–2 weeks after roasting before brewing for the best flavor. Freshly roasted beans release a lot of carbon dioxide, and by letting them rest the gases escape, allowing the true flavors and aromas to shine.Unlike most supermarket coffees, our bags always display the roast date.

Keep coffee sealed airtight in its own bag. It will easily keep its flavor and aroma for about a month, but when properly stored, it still tastes great up to 3 months. Whole beans also stay fresh longer than ground coffee.

Our selection includes several different coffees, each roasted to highlight its unique flavor profile. Our roast levels are light to medium, you won’t find dark, smoky roasts here. If you’re looking for a bolder flavor, we recommend trying our espresso roasts.

Yes, but only if done correctly! If you won’t finish the coffee within about three months, freezing can help preserve freshness, aroma, and flavor. Always store coffee airtight. Before opening a frozen bag, let it come back to room temperature to avoid moisture condensation, which can ruin the coffee. Never refreeze coffee once thawed.

Coffee is a fruit that produces harvests once a year. We always buy fresh crops at their peak. Since we purchase in small batches, one coffee usually stays in our selection for about 2–6 months. Some coffees return with a new harvest, but others we may only buy once.

SHIPPING AND RETURNS

We ship several times a week, and all weekday orders are usually sent within two business days. We roast on Wednesdays, so orders placed by Tuesday are shipped that same week.In Finland: small parcels (Pikkupaketti Ovelle) take 2–5 business days, Postipaketti 1–3 business days.Abroad: delivery with Posti Parcel Connect is 3–8 business days, depending on the country.

Yes! We ship worldwide. Country-specific delivery options and prices are shown at checkout.

Starting from October 1st 2025 we are unable to ship to the US due to restrictions on importing food items to the country.

We work with trusted partners like Posti, UPS, and DHL.

Yes! You’ll receive a tracking link by email once your order has been processed.

If a package is returned to us uncollected, please contact us at info@goodlifecoffee.fi. We can either resend it (with an €8 reshipping fee) or arrange pickup directly at our roastery. Please note: an uncollected package is not the same as a return. We keep returned parcels for 30 days.

Oops! If your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can usually make changes. Contact us quickly at info@goodlifecoffee.fi and we’ll do our best to fix it.

Yes — just add your note in the “message” box at chart and we’ll do our best to include it.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

A subscription makes sure you never run out of coffee. You can choose between a rolling monthly subscription or a fixed 3-month subscription. You’ll receive freshly roasted coffee delivered to your door once a month.

Yes! Ongoing subscriptions can be canceled anytime. Fixed-term subscriptions automatically end after the agreed deliveries.

Each delivery includes at least two different coffees: one brand-new release and one familiar favorite from our selection. You can choose filter roast or espresso/dark roast, and decide between whole beans or your preferred grind size.

Subscription coffees are roasted at the beginning of each month and shipped fresh. Shipping within Finland is included in the price.

  • If you start your subscription between the 1st–14th of the month, your first delivery goes out right away, and the next one at the beginning of the following month.
  • If you subscribe after the 14th, your first delivery will be included in the next month’s batch.

    If you’d like your first delivery sooner, just let us know in the order notes or email sales@goodlifecoffee.fi

For rolling subscriptions: you pay for the first delivery when you sign up, and after that, payments are automatically charged on the 1st of each month. For fixed-term subscriptions, you pay upfront for all deliveries. Coffees are only shipped after successful payment.

Yes! Log in to your account to make changes — like skipping, adjusting, or cancelling. Some features like order size cannot be changed (yet) from the own account but by contacting us at info@goodlifecoffee.fi, we can do any changes for you.

PAYMENTS AND RETURNS

Unopened, resaleable products can be returned within 14 days within Finland and the EU. Coffee itself cannot be returned or exchanged unless it is faulty or spoiled. Customers cover return shipping costs. Please contact us at info@goodlifecoffee.fi before sending anything back.

All our payments are secure and encrypted. You can pay with major credit cards, PayPal, online banking, or MobilePay. Available options are shown at checkout.

You can also find some of our coffees in selected K-markets, at Café Sävy in Helsinki, or directly at our roastery in Heikinlaakso (contact us first to make sure we’re around).

Not at the moment — but maybe one day 😉. For now, you can enjoy our coffees at Café Sävy and other selected cafés and restaurants.
