Mergia from Ethiopia for filter and espresso
May 9th 2018
This coffee comes from privately owned communal wetmill in Chelelectu, Kochere. The owner Mergia Assefa buys cherries from various smallholders nearby. The farmers usually have less than one hectare farms and most coffees are organic by default though they are not certified. At the washing station they are making effort to improve quality through strict sorting and pre-processing of the parchment through the drying process.
This coffee is floral with tangerine like acidity and taste of dark chocolate. Mergia is available both as espresso and filter coffee.
