Our newest Kenyan coffee comes from the Kiangothe Factory, owned by the Kabare Farmers' Cooperative Society, in the Kirinyaga region. As always, this Kenyan coffee is a fantastic example of the best that Kenyan coffee can be: elegant, bright, lightly fruity, juicy, and sweet. The perfect coffee to brighten your day!

There are several thousand farmers living around the Kiangothe washing station, all belonging to the Kabare Farmers' Cooperative Society, who bring their coffee cherries to be processed at the Kiangothe washing station. These small-scale producers own an average of 250 coffee trees each. The area is situated on the slopes of Mt. Kenya, at an elevation of 1700-1900m, and the coffee beans, primarily SL28, SL34, Batian, and Ruiru11 varieties, grown in the clay soil, form the foundation of this coffee.
