Let us introduce our new natural-processed coffee from Ethiopia’s Guji region: Goro Bedesa. Goro Bedesa embodies everything you can imagine – a mouthful of sweetness and velvety smoothness. You’ll find notes of fruit candy, floral tones, and tropical fruit in its flavor.
This coffee comes from the Guji region, specifically from the village of Goro Bedesa and its namesake washing station, where 149 local farmers bring their coffee for processing. The harvest for this batch took place between December 2023 and January 2024. Each farmer owns around 2-3 hectares of land where they grow their coffee. The washing station produces approximately 36 tons of coffee annually. Located at a high altitude of about 2350 meters, the area’s unique growing conditions ensure a high-quality flavor profile, as the coffee plants benefit from plenty of sunlight without excessive heat.
The coffee is handpicked and then dried on raised beds, with the Goro Bedesa station offering a total of 100 drying beds. On average, the coffee dries over a period of 15 days.
